Jenny Kent (Managing Director), Steve Wickham (Technical Director) Slimane Doudou (Principal Consultant), Liz Harvey (Principal Consultant) Callum Eldridge (Consultant), Delhia Alby (Consultant), Tim Harrison (Consultant), and Abhishek Mishra (Intern Consultant) attended the PREDIS Final Conference in Avignon which took place on 3-7 June 2024. PREDIS is a European Commission research project involving 48 partners from 17 countries focused on the pre-disposal management of radioactive waste.
During the conference, staff from Galson Sciences were involved in breakout sessions for Work Packages 4-7 whilst Jenny Kent and Slimane Doudou presented highlights of Galson Sciences work on Value Assessment for PREDIS to a plenary session. Jenny Kent’s presentation summarised the generic Value Assessment approach developed across the whole project. Slimane Doudou expanded on this by demonstrating how this approach was utilised within Work Package 7.
